Catedral de Mármol, Chile Chile

The Marble Cathedral, is a formation mineral of calcium carbonate , on the shores of Lake General Carrera in Chile . In 1994 it was named a national monument. The ice of glaciers contains small particles and, when the ice melts, many particles remain suspended in the water. This gives an unusual effect and it refracts the blue part of sunlight.
