The Dubai Mall is the tenth largest mall in the world, measuring as large as fifty football fields. Visitors to this opulent complex access it by walking on a double-deck road. The mall is remarkable enough for having a giant fake dinosaur skeleton, an interior waterfall, a golden souk and over 1200 shops including the world’s largest candy store. As if that wasn’t surreal enough, it also sells tickets for its own aquarium, ice rink, zoo, cinema, and even a SEGA-themed entertainment park. Foot traffic continued to increase even through the financial crisis that crushed much of opulent Dubai.
