Hermannsdenkmal Germany

The Hermannsdenkmal, also known as the Hermann monument, memorializes the heroic war chief who led Germanic warriors to triumph over three invading Roman legions. The statue is built on a sturdy brick pedestal. Measuring 170 feet tall, the statue towers over the forest’s trees. However, the statue is only for the bold to visit, since it attracts record numbers of lightning strikes due to the height of the metallic structure. Modern scientists even installed measuring devices inside the monument to learn more about lighting strikes. The brave and the bold will not want to miss the show at this incredible monument.
