When Americans think of Philadelphia, they think of cobblestone streets, quaint rolling country with changing autumn leaves, and the iconic Liberty Bell from the American revolution. However, the Mutter Museum is steadily becoming an increasing crowd favorite. The museum features antique medical instruments and preserved samples of tumors, human organs, unusual growths, and other self-described "medical oddities." The museum was founded to educate Americans about the history of medical diagnoses and treatments for rare medical conditions. In addition to the displays of preserved organs and tools, the museum also has educational events such as yoga classes and anatomy drawing.
