Many families around the United States associate Six Flags with cotton candy and summer memories. Six Flags Jazzland contains the skeletons of these memories, with defunct roller coasters, signs, and empty concession stands. The park shut down in 2005 in anticipation of the apocalyptic Hurricane Katrina, never to reopen. Trespassing on the park allows visitors a strange funhouse-style look at the remains of this park. Giant clown heads, once part of a decoration, lay abandoned on the ground. Other interesting sights include defunct ferris wheels, roller coasters and fallen decorations.
